Enjoy a chic dining experience in San Jose. Citrus Restaurant offers a relaxed dining experience for a sophisticated palate. Sheer curtains, Venetian plants, warm walls, and terracotta ceilings create an engaging and versatile environment - perfect for your next romantic evening, group gathering, or business dinner. Our menu, consisting of classics with a creative twist, is sure to have something to please every palate.

Hearty steaks, fresh seafood, and flavorful vegetarian plates are among our specialties. Dine in the open-air, European-style courtyard near the fountain for an especially memorable experience. Complimentary deluxe continental breakfast is served from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Hotel Valencia Announces New Executive Chef
Executive Chef Robert Sapirman Hotel Valencia Santana Row has named Robert Sapirman as new Executive Chef, taking charge of Citrus, the hotel’s modern restaurant currently featuring hearty steaks, fresh seafood and vegetarian plates, and all food services at the hotel.

“I’m very excited about this new opportunity,” said Robert Sapirman. “Citrus is a superb restaurant, and I plan to fuse my local and sustainable ideology with my strong belief that each dish should be cooked perfectly – not just quickly – to provide locals a cuisine unlike anything else on Santana Row.”

Most recently Executive Chef at VESU Restaurant in Walnut Creek, Robert’s passion for local organic ingredients, delectable creations and highly artistic presentation make him an ideal fit for Citrus and the hotel.

“Citrus has always strived to serve food that looks and tastes outstanding while utilizing local resources,” explained General Manager Bonnie Best. “Robert’s enthusiasm for sustainable cooking and the variety of sources from which he draws inspiration – from admiring plate wear, reading cookbooks and visiting farmer’s markets to traveling with friends and family, visiting local farms and eating out - make him the perfect Executive Chef for Hotel Valencia Santana Row.”

Robert’s work history includes restaurants such as Bradley Ogden’s Parcel 104 in Santa Clara, Michael Mina's Arcadia Restaurant in the San Jose Marriott and VESU Restaurant in Walnut Creek. He’s also been proudly involved with local nonprofit events through Make a Wish, March of Dimes and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
