The Valencia is located in a very exciting locale and is unique in even how you enter the hotel and go up one floor to check in. The rooms have a luxury European feel to them and if possible to get a room with a balcony - amazing!

The second time I returned to the hotel they obviously have a system for keeping track of visitors for they welcomed me warmly, used my name and asked me if I liked the room I was in the last time. Very impressive in a world with little effort given to serving customers.
Love what they have done with the bathrooms in each room I have stayed in. Very creative.

The swimming pool on the rooftop is relaxing after a hot drive and the breakfast courtyard in the morning seems to nurture a sense of community at this hotel oasis. Service was excellent for the complimentary breakfast.

Twice I have called my wife from this hotel and emailed her photos saying, "We have to come back here!"

this is one of the nicest hotels all around ive ever been in. The V bar upstairs is a very cool night spot and the service was excellent. The little courtyard in the middle is simply elegant, Almost felt like i was catually in Italy, Im definitely going back.. as soon as possible.

I went to a party here last weekend. It's the nicest hotel in San Jose and it's location is great. I love Santana row! All the good restaurants and clubs are right next door to the Valencia!

I loved the rooms they were so comfy and luxurious. Everything was clean and the hotel employees were great and a it was an amazing night-weekend!

Great location in the middle of Santana Row shopping, restuarants, bars and boutiques.

Such a wonderful getaway from the fog of S.F. came down here to enjoy the YEE event at Club One. I mentioned Yelp and they let us check in early and even gave us a free upgraded room with balcony.

Rooms were so comfy. Everything from the soft bed linens, feather pillows, very soft robes, plush white towels in the shower, vanity with extravagant lotions, shampoo and toiletries. Perfect for getting away, relaxing and unwinding. You can open the doors to the balcony and hear the music down below, smell the food from a nearby restaurant waifing upwards or leave it closed as it shuts out all the noise. Soo perfect for sleeping in. Fridge was a little small and overstocked with expensive drinks and sodas. Was hard to fit all the water I brought into it but I managed. Massive TV in the room with excellent sound system. Love the decor of warm dark woods and even a champagne bucket! I put that to good use!
The rooftop pool was located on the 5th floor and again the sights from up here are perfect! Water in the pool was warm but just right for easing into and relaxing. Lots of lounge chairs and chase lounges were around with a shower, restroom and towels provided. Great for sunning or sleeping in the warm breeze.

The hotel has one of the busiest bars slash lounges inside as well. Drinks were pricey but again, its Santana Row. So, you can't say you've come to Santana Row and experienced the night life without going to the VBar. Very upscale and great music in the lounge area. Just go early because the crowd goes downhill fast.

The complimentary breakfast buffet is really good! Full on eggs, bacon, french toast, fresh muffins, bagels, toasting stations, cereal, coffee, tea, fresh squeezed juice and fresh fruit. Lots of seating inside to read the free paper or outside in the courtyard to enjoy the warm morning air.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back again!

Parking is Valet only here. Twenty bucks a night plus tip when you need the car. No worries and the car came very quickly.
