May 2010 - Valencia Group signs No Phone Zone Pledge

Hotel Valencia Listed Among San Jose's Greenest Hotels - Hotel Valencia Santana Row named as a leader in environmentally friendly travel by eco-travel website.

"Hotel Mixed-Use" is the key to reinventing retail says ULI Retail Panel - "For instance, where hotels are adjacent to retail and hotel mixed-use projects, the hotels regularly accomplished RevPAR premiums of 30 to 40%, and at the Santana Row project in San Jose, the Valencia Hotel accomplished RevPAR penetrations ranging from 160% to 185% -- phenomenal performance."

On Tuesday, July 26, MSN.com appoints San Jose's Hotel Valencia among the world's
"Top 10 Hippest Hotels." Hotel Valencia made the list because, as Expedia.com explained, "Wireless Internet access in all of a hotel's public areas isn’t all that surprising--it’s Silicon Valley after all--but poolside Wi-Fi? Now that's something special."

Selected as the "Best Contemporary Hotel" and "Best Hotel Bar" in Silicon Valley.
- San Jose Magazine, June 2007
