Hotel Policies

At check-in, Hotel Valencia will authorize your credit or debit card for the amount of room and tax plus $100.00 per night for incidentals. Please note banking institutions can take between 3-5 business days to release the funds back to your account. The funds on hold will not be available to you during this time. If using a debit card, please be advised that the hold will directly take place upon your checking account. Please contact your financial institution for further clarification.

Age Requirement Minimum check-in age is 21. Valid identification is required at time of check-in.

A. Cancellation Policy

Effective immediately, our reservation cancellation policy is as follows:

1. 24-Hour Free Cancellation: Guests may cancel their hotel reservation free of charge within 24 hours of booking, provided the reservation is made at least 72 hours before the check-in date.
2. 48-Hour Cancellation Requirement: For reservations made more than 72 hours before the check-in date and not cancelled within the 24-hour window, guests must cancel at least 48 hours prior to check-in to avoid a cancellation fee equivalent to one night's stay.
3. Special Event/Non-Refundable Reservations: Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge within 24 hours of booking. After this 24-hour window, these reservations are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
4. How to Cancel: To cancel a reservation, please contact our reservation team via phone or email with your booking details.

A credit card is required at the time of booking. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to our hotel.

Hotel Valencia offers valet parking at $50 overnight or $15 short-term for 3 hours for your convenience. Self-parking is available throughout Santana Row in surrounding garages. If self-parking, guests should drop their luggage at the valet stand before parking. Self Parking Charges Enforced by Santana Row will apply.

Vehicle passes are required for overnight self-parking and must be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle. Vehicle passes for overnight self-parking are available upon arrival from our valet and front desk staff. Vehicles without an authorized vehicle pass will be towed at the owner's expense.  Hotel Valencia assumes no responsibility for towed vehicles. Self Parking Charges Enforced by Santana Row will apply.

Hotel Valencia offers wine and cocktail drinks at Terrace, Cieio, Vbar and through in-room dining. Outside alcohol is prohibited and will be collected and stored for our guests until departure.

To enhance air quality and contribute to the health and well-being of our Guests and Associates, Hotel Valencia offers a smoke-free environment. Smoking is only permitted in the open air areas of Santana Row, outside of the hotel. A cleaning fee of $200 will be assessed for any guest-room where smoking is found to have occurred.

Hotel Valencia does not allow pets.

Service animals are welcome. We follow the ADA's definition of a Service Animal: an animal specifically trained to perform a task for a disabled person. Disabilities include physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disabilities. Please note: Emotional Support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not considered service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA. 

A non-refundable guest room cleaning fee of $300 plus tax will be assessed for pets that do not fall under ADA guidelines.

Hotel Valencia may store shipments for your arrival. Due to limited storage space, please ship all packages to arrive no more than 5 business days prior to your arrival date. A handling charge of $3.00 per package will apply to all packages delivered to events and meeting spaces. All packages stored longer than 5 business days will incur a storage fee of $5.00 per package, per day.

Packages arriving for guests who are checked in will be left a message that a package has arrived and can be picked up from the Bell Staff or delivered for a $2.00 Delivery Fee for the first three packages and $2.00 for each additional package. All guests must be present to sign for packages upon delivery.

Hotel Valencia shall not be liable for safe or timely arrival of any packages sent to the hotel. Hotel Valencia will reserve the right to refuse acceptance of packages, or return to sender when necessary.
